Zoom might be used because it allows focus on a character connoting a sense of importance. It also allows you to see facial expressions clearly connoting a sense of emotion. It may be used in a serious situation or when showing an important character.


Arc shot would be used in situations where you want to see body and facial expression. It allows the audience to see characters reactions.
